LOCAL BUTCHULLA CULTURAL WALK

Walking in the footsteps of our friendly Butchulla guide, you will discover Hervey Bay in a very unique way.

He will show you important gathering places for the Butchulla people, let you try bush tucker, teach you about traditional medicines, show you how to create art or make a fire from materials found along the way, hear first hand the most beautiful Dreamtime stories of this area and more! We promise you, this is a very meaningful and fun tour to do in Hervey Bay, you will thoroughly enjoy it.

Tour departs on select days at 8.30am; returns 10am.

Moderate fitness required.

Departure point: Great Sandy Straits Marina Terminal, Shop 6/17 Buccaneer Dr, Urangan QLD 4655 (opposite Cafe Balaena).

What to bring? – water bottle, hat, sunglasses, camera, comfortable footwear, yourself for a fun day out.
