Take a day bus tour from Hobart to Tasmania’s East Coast, a stretch of road with such stunning scenery it has been named the Great Eastern Drive.  The drive itself will not disappoint you.  Views are breathtaking, including Maria Island and across the water to Freycinet National Park and its pink granite rock mountains.

Along the way you will stop just before Swansea to look at the unique convict built Spiky Bridge.  On arrival at Freycinet you will make your way to the Wineglass Bay Lookout to look down upon this most famous beach.

Your group will have the option of stopping to buy lunch at the beautiful town of Coles Bay or to continue on to Devils Corner where you can enjoy pizza or fish and chips with a glass of local wine.

If time is permitting on your trip back to Hobart you can call into Freycinet Marine Farm for some freshly harvested mussels or oysters, or a visit to Kates Berry Farm.
