Design your Love Lock at the reception desk and while it is being made join in on an interactive Bell Chiming Experience where you can try the art of bellringing yourself with an experienced tour guide. To commemorate your chiming, you will receive a Bell Tower Chiming Certificate.

Explore the levels of the Bell Tower and while enjoying the beautiful 360 degree views of the Swan River and Perth city skyline a staff member can take your photo to remember the special day. You can even enhance your experience by creating a free video postcard to share with family and friends.

You can then take your personalised engraved Love Lock and lock it on the chain that exists at The Bell Tower or you can choose to take it home as a souvenir. The engraved Love Lock is branded with two names and a special date. The idea is that the padlock ‘locks’ the love forever; meaning a strong, ever-lasting relationship. They are usually used by couples but are also used by family members to cement their bond.

Visiting the Bell Tower is one of the top things to do in Perth and it is the first of its kind in the world.

The Bell Tower Chiming Experience is conducted:
Monday – Saturday every half an hour*
10.30am -2.30pm

*The bell ringers ring every Monday and Thursday 12pm-1pm so no chiming demonstrations take place during these times
